We are hiring for a full time Land Surveyor/ Survey Crew Chief in our Greendale, IN office. You would be working under Paul Raney who is the head of the Surveying, GPS, & Civil Departments.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Using latest surveying technologies including robotic, total stations, and data controllers
  • Using RTK/RTN GPS for topographic, boundary, and construction layout
  • 3D scanning and drone experience is a plus
  • Coordinate findings with surveying, engineering, and architectural personnel, clients, and other involved parties
  • Record and preserve accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
  • Work independently and manage field crews
  • Drafting as needed


Minimum Requirements Include:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying from an accredited institution
  • (SIT) Surveyor in Training and/or ability to obtain a license as a Land Surveyor
  • AutoCAD Civil3D and Carlson software experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience in Land Surveying
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record


Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Ability to perform field calculations
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and processes
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight
  • Ability to communicate verbally and written, to interact with the public and appropriately answer questions and address issues raised by property owners and others associated with the project
  • Knowledge of job site safety
  • Physical ability to traverse a variety of terrain while carrying equipment

We are hiring for a full time Civil Engineer in our Greendale, IN office. You would be working under Paul Raney who is the head of the Surveying, GPS, & Civil Departments.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and create site layout plans in conjunction with client requirements and approved standards
  • Develop concept plans, grading plans, roadways, underground utilities, and site designs
  • Multi-task between projects and prioritize workflow to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Work with project management team, surveyors, and architects to develop a strategic plan for execution
  • Perform field work, project design, plan preparation, submittals, and attending meetings as required
  • Help other departments as needed


Minimum Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of a BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 2 to 4 years related experience
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain EIT within 6 months preferred
  • CAD Experience
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record


Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Knowledge of Navisworks is a plus
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft office suite when needed
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and processes
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight

  • Minimum of a BS in Architectural Engineering or related field
  • 2 to 4 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Proficiency or ability to learn AutoCAD Civil3D

  • Proficiency or ability to learn use of GPS equipment (for survey technician)
